The project is set up to help train people with learning disabilities to reach their potential as a workforce, by doing something they enjoy and can excel in. 2activ8 Centre is based in Ammanford, which is also the home of the Junior Gateway Charity along with 2activ8 Training and the iSmooth Cafe and Ice Cream Parlour.
The training involves learning the importance of time management, dress code and work practise, dealing with conflicts and health and safety. All work is tailored to meet the needs of the individual and on the job support is provided.
